Coolhaus revamps packaging & ice cream sandwich selection
Coolhaus’ new packaging for its ice cream bars and pints is easier to read, but maintains the “classic food-truck look,” which recalls the company’s origins, the firm said in March.
The packs feature bold lettering and black and white images that depict the flavors, such as a fig for Balsamic Fig and Mascarpone. The pint tubs also are clean so consumers can see the ice cream, but the bar bags are opaque with an iconic ice cream bar drawing.
The young company also will launch two new ice cream sandwiches this summer: Peter Cook-ies & Cream, double chocolate cookies with salted cookies and cream ice cream, and Frank Behry, strawberry ice cream between two snickerdoodle cookies. These join other sandwich flavors including IM Pei-nut Butter and Rem’s Coolhause, a spokeswoman said.
